In-house Advocacy
Michael Wood QC is described in Chambers Directory 2007 as “one of the best – lauded with his abilities on cases with an international angle”. Whilst remaining in private practice, he works closely with the firm and often becomes involved very early on in investigations, advising on strategy and particular issues. He is also developing an in-house advocacy programme both for those with higher rights and trainees. He has been admitted to the Dubai International Financial Centre Court and has appeared in the Cayman Island and Malawi. He has also conducted training courses in Malaysia.
As a company CHS has a number of Higher Court advocates with Higher Rights of Audience in the criminal courts.

who together have years of experience acting for defendants across
a range of criminal litigation work.
